FAQ

1. How long does shipping take, and how are large items shipped?

  • Processing: Most items are custom made at the time of order and require 3-5 weeks for production before shipping . In-stock items typically process within 3-7 business days.

  • Shipping: Outdoor chairs and small tables ship via standard parcel carrier (5-10 business days). Balcony pergolas and large furniture sets ship via freight carrier (LTL) (7-20 business days delivery) .

  • Freight Delivery: The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a 4-hour delivery window. Delivery is typically to your curb, driveway, or first dry area (threshold delivery) .

2. What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs vary greatly by item size and destination:

  • Outdoor Chairs & Small Tables: Standard shipping rates apply; free shipping may be available over a certain amount.

  • Balcony Pergolas & Large Sets: Shipping is calculated based on your ZIP code and item dimensions/weight. These are separate freight charges shown at checkout. Costs can be significant.

  • Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping within the contiguous 48 states on qualifying orders . Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska requires additional fees .

3. Do you offer White Glove delivery?
White Glove delivery (in-home delivery, unpacking, and placement) is available for most items upon request for an additional fee . Please contact us for a quote and to arrange this service.

4. Do items require assembly?

  • Balcony Pergolas: Require significant assembly and typically require two people. All hardware and instructions are included.

  • Cushions: No assembly required.

5. What materials are your products made of?
All products are designed for outdoor use with weather-resistant materials :

Balcony Pergolas Powder-coated aluminum or steel frames, UV-protected polyester or polycarbonate canopy, rust-resistant stainless steel hardware  Weather-resistant, provides shade, various sizes
Outdoor Small Tables Powder-coated aluminum, teak/acacia wood, all-weather wicker, tempered glass tops  Rust-proof frames, easy-clean surfaces, stable bases

6. What safety standards do your products meet?
Our products comply with applicable U.S. safety standards:

  • Structural Stability: Meets ASTM F2280/F2288 standards for outdoor furniture stability and load-bearing capacity .

  • Material Safety: Complies with CPSC lead content limits (16 CFR 1303) and California Proposition 65 requirements for chemical safety .

  • Flammability: Upholstered components meet federal flammability standards .

  • Corrosion Resistance: Metal components pass salt spray tests (ASTM B117) for rust prevention .

7. Are the cushions and fabrics waterproof/UV resistant?

  • Cushions: Most are water-resistant (repel water) but not fully waterproof. They withstand light rain but should be brought inside or covered during heavy rain . Cushions typically have zippered, removable covers for cleaning.

  • Fabrics: Treated for UV resistance to prevent fading from sun exposure (rated for UV protection) .

  • Textilene Fabric: Many outdoor fabrics are woven polyester coated with PVC, making them water-resistant and durable .

8. How do I clean and maintain my outdoor furniture?
Regular Care:

  • Frames: Wipe with mild soap and water using a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners .

  • Metal: Check for scratches and touch up with matching paint to prevent rust .

  • Wood (Teak/Acacia): May weather naturally to silver-gray; can be oiled annually to maintain golden-brown color .

  • Wicker: Clean with soft brush and soapy water; rinse .

  • Cushions: Spot clean with mild soap; remove covers if washable. Allow to air dry completely before storing .

9. Should I cover or store my furniture during winter?
Yes, we strongly recommend:

  • Using high-quality, waterproof, breathable furniture covers during off-seasons to protect from snow, rain, and UV exposure .

  • Storing cushions and fabric accessories indoors (garage, shed) during winter and prolonged bad weather .

  • For pergolas, consider removing the canopy and storing it indoors during winter to extend its life .

  • Avoid storing furniture directly on soil or grass; use a raised surface (pallets, concrete blocks) to prevent moisture absorption .

10. What is the weight capacity of your products?

  • Outdoor Chairs: Standard weight capacity is typically 250-400 lbs. Check specific product specifications.

  • Outdoor Tables: Each model has a maximum weight rating for the tabletop surface. Always check product specs.

  • Pergolas: Designed for shade and light weight; not intended to support heavy loads or climbing.
